Opened in 2006 by owner and operator, Chef Samia Behaya. Since then, the restaurant has remained a neighborhood staple for those seeking a familiar dining experience outside their own home. The menu is made up of original recipes inspired by the cuisine in Chef Samia's home country of France and influenced by her background in Algeria. All of the ingredients are sourced locally from Hudson Valley Harvest and the bread is baked daily in house.

It is the quintessential neighborhood cafe, perfect for a morning espresso and chocolate croissant. The French-inspired cafe lives up to its namesake by offering a simple menu of delicious food.

This French Algerian place has become my goto weekend breakfast place. I love the friendly staff and the delicious food they serve. One of my favorite must haves is the cafe au lait before the main course, it the perfect amount of coffee milk and foam. As for breakfast options you can’t go wrong with the buffet or anything on their menu.
